Permanent Wave
コールドパーマが一般的なパーマと呼ばれる種類になります 。
加熱はせずに、パーマ液のみで髪の毛のたんぱく質を固定してウェーブを作り出します。
コールドパーマは、髪の毛が濡れている状態の時が一番ウェーブが強く出ており、乾いたときに緩やかになるのが特徴です。
波打つようなウェーブ、しっとりとした束感、くしゃっとした無造作ヘアなどのスタイルにしたい場合におすすめです。
濡れた状態の時に、スタイリング剤をつけ、弱風で乾かすのが一番綺麗にウェーブが出ます。
「普通のパーマが似合うスタイル」:
外国人のようなふんわりとした緩めのウェーブにしたい、部分的にボリューム感を出したい。
「普通のパーマに向いていない髪の状態」:
縮毛矯正をしている方はかけられません。ブリーチをした髪もパーマはかけられません。
髪が硬い方も少々かかりにくいので、デジタルパーマを試してみて下さい。
Cold Permanent is the most standard perm process.
The protein in the hair is set using perm solution, allowing for waves to be created without utilizing heat.
When the hair is wet, waves appear prominent and more defined. However, when the hair dries, the waves will appear more loose and gentle. Generally, it is important to keep the hair moisturized with hair products for the best results.
Cold Perm is recommended for those who would like soft flowing waves that is moisture rich and can be styled by casually scrunching. It is also recommended for those who are looking for tighter curls or more body towards the top.
When styling your waves, we recommend applying any mousse or setting lotion on wet hair. When you dry your hair, use the lowest setting on your hair dryer to achieve the best results.
Styles that look great with a standard perm:
Those who would like soft, gently flowing waves or those who are looking to add volume to sections of their hair.
Hair that is not suited for standard perm:
Perm cannot be applied to hair that has been straightened or bleached. The chemicals will cause further damage and may result in hair breaking off at the scalp.
It is also difficult to perm very coarse hair. We recommend trying digital perm for those with coarse/stiff hair.

Digital Perm
デジタルパーマは、熱を加えることで髪の毛にスタイリングを形状記憶させ、パーマのかかり具合を強くすることが出来るのです。
また、髪を乾かした時にウェーブが再現されるパーマなので、普段のスタイリングがとてもラクに仕上がります。
乾かす時は、指で毛をクルクルッと巻きつけてドライヤーで乾かします。
根元にはかけられないというデメリットもありますが、乾かすだけでスタイリングができる手軽さがメリットです。
コテを使ったような巻き髪にしたい場合にもおすすめです。普通のパーマより長持ちするのが特徴です。デジタルパーマは普通のパーマよりお時間を要する場合があります。料金設定も違いますので詳しくはこちらをご確認ください。
「デジタルパーマに向いている髪の状態」
髪質が比較的硬い髪質や、逆にとても軟毛の髪質にはデジタルパーマに向いています。
髪が健康過ぎてパーマがかかりにくいことがあれば、デジタルパーマにチャレンジしてみましょう。
また、縮毛矯正をしている方でもかけることができます。
「デジタルパーマに向いていない髪の状態」
カラーなどで髪が傷み過ぎていたり、ブリーチをした髪もパーマはかけられません。
毛先が大胆にすいてあるヘアスタイルの方は向いていません。
施術中は少し熱く感じることもあります。敏感な体質の方はデジタルパーマは避けたほうが良いでしょう。
デジタルパーマが似合うスタイル：
セットする時に楽な方がよい、ヘアアイロンを使った時のような立体的なカールやパーマを長持ちさせたい、と考える方はデジタルパーマを選ぶと良いです。
Digital Perm is a type of hair treatment that shapes the hair into curls by altering the chemical makeup of the hair using perm solution and heat.
When the hair is dried, the waves will appear more prominently allowing for easier styling. Conversely, when the hair is wet, the curls will loosen.
When drying the hair, it is best to curl the hair around your finger while using a hair dryer.
The downside to digital perm is that the perm cannot be applied at the root. However styling is easy to achieve simply by drying the hair.
It is recommended for those that would like to have curls resembling those that are created using a curling iron. The results of a digital perm will generally last longer than normal perms (on average, about 3 times longer). However, since the curls will not appear near the roots, it may be difficult to achieve volume towards the top. Digital perm appointments typically take longer than normal perm appointments and will be more expensive as well (please see our pricing chart for details).
Hair that is well suited for digital perm:
Digital Perm is well suited for those who have thick, voluminous hair or for those who have very thin hair as well.
If you have had difficulty perming your hair due to your hair being too straight, you should give digital perming a try.
It can also be applied to hair that has been previously straightened.
Hair that is not suited for digital perm:
Digital Perm cannot be applied if your hair is heavily damaged due to color treatment or bleach.
Digital Perm is not suited if your current hair has been heavily thinned.
Our perm solution is designed for Asian Hair. If you have thicker hair, this would work well for you. However, if you have thinner and softer hair, it may not be a good fit for you. In the past, we have tried Digital Perms for caucasian hair textures but have not had good results. This may be because of the difference in the components of the hair itself.
Digital Perming involves the use of heat throughout the process. If you are sensitive to heat, you may want to reconsider the perm. If you would still like to proceed, please let us know beforehand so that we can better prepare for your appointment.
Styles that look great with digital perm:
Digital Perm would be a great choice for those who would like to easily style their hair or for those who would like to maintain three-dimensional curls like those created with a curling iron.

Those who are looking to lessen overall volume.
Those who currently have no coloring done. If colored, it is still possible if the color is a shade of brown, or if the color was to cover grey hairs.
Japanese Straightening Technique is not suited for:
If your hair has been bleached (including highlights or balayage) or there is severe damage, we cannot proceed with the straightening.

Keratin Smoothing Treatment is well suited for those that cannot straighten their hair due to hair damage, those who have bleached their hair, or those who would like to loosely straighten their hair. It is also recommended for those who want to try straightening their hair temporarily (i.e. one season).
